40% Zirconia Fused Alumina F80 for Fiber Disc Characteristic:

 

1. Zirconia fused alumina with a silicon content of 40% exhibits higher toughness, self-sharpening properties, specific gravity, and refractory temperature compared to 25% silicon content zirconia-alumina.

2. Through control of silicon content and cooling processes, the ZrO2-Al2O3 eutectic in 40% silicon content zirconia-alumina is uniformly distributed at the grain boundaries of alumina crystals, which is beneficial for improving the compressive strength, particle toughness, and fracture resistance of zirconium-alumina.

3. By controlling the smelting temperature and cooling rate, 40% silicon content zirconium-alumina has a high tetragonal phase content of zirconium oxide. Therefore, zirconium-alumina possesses more stable mechanical properties and high-temperature stability.

4. Extreamly wear resistance. In the meantime, high roughness with no excessive brittle collapse under high pressure grinding.
